Head Coaches:

Tylor Fick

       As program director, Tylor Fick oversees and designs all the programs and classes that Spartan Diving Club has to offer.  Tylor is a former High School State Champion and 3-time All American. He was also diver at Michigan State University, where he earned his B.A. in Communication. Tylor has been named the MHSAA High School Diving Coach of the Year four times. (2013 Girls D3, 2016 Boys D3, 2016 Girls D1, 2018 Girls D3)  

Mike Wagner

      As one of the co-founders of Spartan Diving Club, Mike was a former diver at Michigan State University. He is the varsity men's and women's diving coach for Okemos High School, where he has won numerous high school coaching awards. Mike was named the Boys D2,  MHSAA High School Diving Coach of Year in 2018. He was also a recpient of the Bruce Harlan Award in 2018. The Award is given annually to a diving coach who demonstrates continued leadership, contributions, and service to Michigan High School DIving.

Eric Best

       As the other co-founder of Spartan Diving Club, Eric Best is an integral member of our coaching staff.  Eric is in his 18th season as the diving coach at Michigan State University.  In his tenure there, Eric has coached multiple Big-Ten finalists, numerous NCAA Zone qualifiers, a NCAA Championship qualifier, and multiple Master's National Champions.  He also coached former MSU diver Danielle Williams to a fourth-place finish at Canadian Nationals and a seventh-place finish at Olympic Trials.  In 2006, Eric was named Big-Ten Coach of the Year. In 2013 Eric was honored with the Bruce Harlan award.
